Feels good to be me....

Thanks to my boss, I haven't been writing here regularly... usually I blog when I have time to spare at work. What with work being so hectic and then coming back home being euphoric, I haven't had time to spare on the blog. Wanted to write about a lot of things from Obama to Kasav to the Chris Parent/Chris Child game that we played at work. Will stick to the wedding for now though...
Weddings are great if it's not yours and if you happen to be a girl, you get to shop and dress up and then walk around organising and having fun. You don't have to worry about whether this marriage will last or dread leaving your home and staying with a bunch of strangers...
Anyway, I had a lot of fun at this wedding... here are a few pictures ...
Vinod gave us all an awesome surprise by turning up just in time for the wedding...
It felt great to be back with the entire family...
This guy was so funny at the wedding... was so happy to see him havig fun and being himself.

This is how my brothers cut the birthday cake...

Bringing the bride home...

All set to welcome the Year 2009...

Taken after the New Year's Mass... (This method of photography was Nam's brilliant idea. Every time I come down here she finds a new way to pose for the camera...)
Here we are with the cousins...
Here are a few other picutures that I like...
The Bombay gang... only Tina could make it for the wedding, missed the other guys. Grandma was very happy to see all her kids...

All the cousins's at the birthday party...

Welcoming the bride, check out those flower girls, they were so pretty...

All the cousins...
All the weddings he goes to, Manoj takes a picture like this...
Isn't this neat? I like these intricate designs...

The book of life has passed on, look at them... each telling the other to open it. The cousins have started a great tradition, we (Tonio & me) received this book first, then it passed on to Tina & Jaison... now Manoj & Linda have to start their own discovery. Any idea, who's gonna get it next?

Hey Mazhalai, wishing you a great year too. Hope you had as much fun as I had. I can't seem to get out of the fun/home mood, work seems to drag after this long holiday I spent at home.

Tina, nice picture. Yeah, those guys crack me up, they just stabbed the cake. Anyway, let anybody get the book, as long as there is another wedding and I get to party again!

Nam, Manoj sure is funny, but I bet I would make a good life planner too...

Nice Ad....

Wouldn't you say so... Nam and me were in this huge clothing store and we were making fun of all the models on display (there was one of hrithik in which he looked kinda gayish) when we came across this one. Seriously, dark people are more better looking....

My school teachers...

So I got to thinking bout my school days recently and it saddened me that I was starting to forget a few teachers who had shaped my life, I have already forgotten nearly half the classmates... though its not my fault. Some people just don't want to join facebook, then how can you find them in this big world. Even if I do find them, there is not much to talk beyond the 'where are you & what are you doing' phrases. But the teachers are another matter, they deserve to be remembered for moulding us. I gotta hand it to the convent school I studied in, they really knew how to select their educators... all the teachers I had shared a genuine passion for teaching and above that they had strong moral values and faith which invariably shaped our lives. To them being a good person was what mattered the most and they made sure we grasped this knowledge, it also helped that I had staunch catholic parents who cemented this view. Anyway, I just wanted to jot down stuff bout my teacher

A tribute to the crazy bunch....

Here are a few picutres that won't find a place in the wedding album... but they were equally (some of them, even more) memorable. Everybody loves sunoj.... I was so happy to see them all...... (first time they were coming to my new place) Sunoj again.... hanging out with this guy is like shopping, ice cream, chocolates... etc. You can't get enough of them. The crazy cousins gave us a very interesting gift... this gift will be with us for six months then it will start its cycle of educating the owners. Though I doubt my cousins need much education in that department. It was fun opening the book and Jardin being the smart guy wanted somethin read from page 69. It was so cute the way Sunoj quickly picked up "The Magic Faraway Tree Series" from the corner and gave me to hold up when Robert uncle walked into the room (turns out he was the one who bought the book). I still remember Robert uncle laughing his head off.... good times. This wa
