You know there are some songs that you listen to once, and they don't seem to leave you... they keep playing in a corner of your head until you 'youtube' it again. This is one of those songs, and Kellie Pickler is nice, she's so funny... you can't help but like her.
These American Idol kids sure are doing good, and its the girls mostly who are famous, Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, Jennifer Hudson, Kelli Pickler... wonder what happened to David Cook and the other David, then there was this silver haired old guy called Taylor... how come they didn't make it big? Taylor Hicks was a big washout...I heard that American Idol withdrew his contract. I also heard a rumor that he won because there's a group that hates AI so much that they go about voting for the worst :p

Yes, long live Hannah Montana! :D

kellie Pickler and a few of the other famous ones didn't even win.. they were all the runners up when Taylor Hicks won and they all ended up more famous than him!

Shil, this sing was written by Kellie and Taylor Swift, and you don't have to read the lyrics, just listen to the song. And haven't heard any of yamin's song, will youtube it. I don't know about anoop, but there is cute puerto rican kid in this season of AI, forget his name... he looks indian.

Sandhya, yeah miley is okay, I've heard her a few times on the radio...

Taylor hicks was okay, he and his dance moves... atleast he made us laugh. I really hated that fantasia female.

Amethyst in Chennai - A Review

After Sarangi , we stopped by Amethyst another boutique store at Whites Road (quite close to Express Avenue Mall), Royapettah. This is a cool posh place hidden from the bustling din of the main road, and the entry way itself seems to transport you to another time and place far away from the cacophony of a busy city life. Once you step into this land overflowing with (wild) shrubbery, you'll find a flower shop, a jewellery cum clothing store and a colonial styled coffee hangout place. The entrance... with shrubs on either side. A giant urn among the shrubbery.  A little fountain in the garden... The jewellery and clothing boutique is located upstairs and even though the whole arrangement looks nice and inviting, I couldn't really find anything worth buying here.   An art piece at the store... The clothes seemed drab and messily complicated, like some new age fashion for the artsy / socialite types. It's not something your normal next door perso...

I heard bout Flipkart.com from Anju and that site has changed my life. All the books that I have been searching for since centuries, are now sitting prettily on my book shelf. Landmark is a thing of the past now... in fact Landmark is not what it used to be anymore, they do not seem to have stock on most of the good books. Talking of books, here are a few people who have enriched my life with their recommendations of the written word... My brother Manoj for buying the ' The Partner ' by John Grisham . Now I hadn't heard of Grisham before so the book was just lying there at home. One day I got bored and picked it up, that was the start of my love affair with Grisham and legal thrillers in general. This was the first John Grisham book I read and it was in a word mindblowing. I couldn't set the book down, my heart was racing away with Patrick Laniga...
