So the mayhem and massacre in Egypt speaks volumes about the Muslim brotherhood and what they represent. Apparently they value neither their lives nor the lives of other innocent people, read this and this to know how terrifyingly volatile the situation is out there. These extremists organisations are a bane to peace and progress everywhere, they should be rooted out and... I don't know what should be done to them. Put them all in an island somewhere, from where they cannot escape, and put all our imbecile corrupt politicians there, throw in the rapists too... let them kill and fight each other to their hearts content. Then the normal and innocent people can have some peace and sanity.

Talking of Egypt, just when you think you couldn't love and respect Benedict Cumberbatch any more... he does something like this. This is so in tune with his character Sherlock, telling them to make themselves useful. He is a smart and an intellectual guy, it's gonna be fun to see how he comes back from the grave in season 3 to startle the others. So about his Reichenbach fall, the ball and John being knocked down had something to do with it. He fell and landed on something soft and we couldn't see that, cause we were seeing everything from John's point of view. So immediately his little helpers crowd round him, pour some blood around his head to make it look like he died, and then they take him away after giving John just enough time to check his pulse. Anyway, that's my theory...

Talking of dancing, I loved this video of kids dancing an Indian classical dance, how talented and extremely flexible they are. You have to watch it till the end, to see the chariot ride they imitate, you'll fall in love with their extraordinary performance. Wish I had a little bit of the talent these kids possess...

nice....so sad as well....the one thing that really jumped out at me though was the christians and muslims protecting each other...and these things only seem to come out of adversity...that is pretty cool though and maybe a step...

Those children are so talented! I have a passion for Indian classical dance. We lived in India for 5 years and I took Bharat Natyam lessons for all that time, my guru was in fact from Madras.

I loved my visit to Egypt so sad that people cannot be peace loving. There have always been wars of some sort in the world, and I guess it will never change until there is nobody left to fight!! Wish I could watch the video but our connection is too slow! Have a good day Diane

I heard bout Flipkart.com from Anju and that site has changed my life. All the books that I have been searching for since centuries, are now sitting prettily on my book shelf. Landmark is a thing of the past now... in fact Landmark is not what it used to be anymore, they do not seem to have stock on most of the good books. Now I hadn't heard of Grisham before so the book was just lying there at home. One day I got bored and picked it up, that was the start of my love affair with Grisham and legal thrillers in general. 6 pm come soooooooon!

So here I am sitting in office on a Saturday and wondering what to do…. I don’t mind sitting here though, everybody is so relaxed and nobody ever works, or maybe they do work, only it doesn’t seem like that. It’s actually quiet and peaceful; I guess everybody is pretending to work… like me. I have a huge list in my head about the things I want to do tomorrow, and going to the library tops that list. I just finished reading “Circle of Friends” by Maeve Binchy and I loved it. It’s a story about two girls who grow up together in a convent school and when its time to go to university in the big town of Dublin, they discover gradually that they can depend on each other and their convent school upbringing to see them through the trying times. It was beautifully written, and it struck so close to home. I picked up another M&B book along with this Binchy book and I am going to return it tomorrow without bothering to complete it.
