And nobody was named Fred....

There was a Hugo and a Rosie... but no Fred. Oh well, it's over... that is more than enough.

So finally the Harry Potter series has come to an end. And I did read all the books... but somehwere between the third and the fourth book, all the success went to her (Rowling's) head and she started churning out lousy sequels. I mean the first book was really nice, stuck to important stuff... and did not ramble on unnecessarily. I liked the third book the best, cause of Sirius... I thought he was the most amazing character, he was portrayed as this handsome reckless and brave guy, rugged looking but great looking, kinda like Aragon in the movie, "Lord of the rings" or Oded Fehr in "The Mummy Series". So it was only natural that I stopped watching the Harry potter movies, after I saw who they had cast to play the role of Sirius Black, some demented looking guy. Just look at the pictures!!!

Anyway, this last book was just too much... there was too much of everythin. It was kinda like the movies Sivaji and Spiderman 3, where everythin was blown out of proportion. The only thing I really found interesting in the book was the escape of the seven potter's... that was a brilliant idea.
So, ending in the words of my sister Nameeta....
"im going to write the countinuing series of harry potter... and in the first chapter of the first book harry potter will die.. his own children will kill him for having such a pathetic life!! "

I found the book a bit strange too. I mean, it wasn't bad but the ending, come on!! Gitu read the ending first and thought that Harry's parents and Dumbledore were back because of the stupid kids' names!! haha

hey candice, there was an article about Harry Potter in the newspapers, did you read that? It goes on to say that harry became on auror, hermoine joined some "rights for the lesser creatures" movement, stuff like that. The world was a nice bright and happier place after the death of Lord Voldemort.

Oh yeah megh's, nam showed me that chinese looking guy on TV once, he is undeniably cute!!!

Anju, it was okay, but I wouldn't be able to read it all again and Gitu's funny...

Saj, have you been to town hall often?

Honeybee, its not that bad... it is in fact really interesting, except when it begins to drag at a few places.

Chronic Writer, aren't you the one who commented somewhere about daniel stripping for a show...

Nam, calm down....

Nice Ad....

Wouldn't you say so... Nam and me were in this huge clothing store and we were making fun of all the models on display (there was one of hrithik in which he looked kinda gayish) when we came across this one. Seriously, dark people are more better looking....

My school teachers...

So I got to thinking bout my school days recently and it saddened me that I was starting to forget a few teachers who had shaped my life, I have already forgotten nearly half the classmates... though its not my fault. Some people just don't want to join facebook, then how can you find them in this big world. Even if I do find them, there is not much to talk beyond the 'where are you & what are you doing' phrases. But the teachers are another matter, they deserve to be remembered for moulding us. I gotta hand it to the convent school I studied in, they really knew how to select their educators... all the teachers I had shared a genuine passion for teaching and above that they had strong moral values and faith which invariably shaped our lives. To them being a good person was what mattered the most and they made sure we grasped this knowledge, it also helped that I had staunch catholic parents who cemented this view. Anyway, I just wanted to jot down stuff bout my teacher...
