Praying for Haiti...

I keep thinking bout the people stuck under the wreckage in Haiti slowly feeling life ebb away. It must be terrifying pinned under piles of rubble, unable to reach out to the open sky that is a few feet away. Suffocating in a dark place, with no food or water and no way of communicating to the world outside... praying to be rescued yet as the dark hours pass by wondering if they will ever find you. Thinking of loved ones and crying over the fear of not seeing them again... and finally hoping that heaven is a safe place where you will never have to endure such torment and anguish again. I don't know how many people were/are trapped under the debris in Haiti, but from what I have been reading I know it is quite a huge number, and I cannot begin to describe what I feel for them. I just hope that as many as possible were rescued on time and that the others who had to meet their creator were received with joyful arms, the safest place imaginable. If there are people still alive inside, God please help them... only You seem to know what is happening around here.

For the survivors its a living nightmare, the papers show horrifying images of corpses being heaped about (and from what I read decaying and oozing out body fluids that run down the street), the survivors who have no where to go now, missing home, and family and food and water and everything that they need to stay sane. Lord, please do something... You are all they have got now. Please watch over them, take care of every single person out there. I don't know what else to do...

Miracles are happening every day in Haiti. Watch and see--we will hear of them soon.

Your prayers have been heard, I know.

Nice Ad....

Wouldn't you say so... Nam and me were in this huge clothing store and we were making fun of all the models on display (there was one of hrithik in which he looked kinda gayish) when we came across this one. Seriously, dark people are more better looking....

I hope the world doesn't end in 2012, I have a whole lot of books to read...

I heard bout Flipkart.com from Anju and that site has changed my life. All the books that I have been searching for since centuries, are now sitting prettily on my book shelf. Landmark is a thing of the past now... in fact Landmark is not what it used to be anymore, they do not seem to have stock on most of the good books. So I am deliriously thankful to the creators of flipkart, I seriously love you guys... continue with your fabulous work. Talking of books, here are a few people who have enriched my life with their recommendations of the written word... My brother Manoj for buying the ' The Partner ' by John Grisham . Now I hadn't heard of Grisham before so the book was just lying there at home. One day I got bored and picked it up, that was the start of my love affair with Grisham and legal thrillers in general. This was the first John Grisham book I read and it was in a word mindblowing. I couldn't set the book down, my heart was racing away with Patrick Laniga...

And nobody was named Fred....

There was a Hugo and a Rosie... but no Fred. Oh well, it's over... that is more than enough. So finally the Harry Potter series has come to an end. And I did read all the books... but somehwere between the third and the fourth book, all the success went to her (Rowling's) head and she started churning out lousy sequels. I mean the first book was really nice, stuck to important stuff... and did not ramble on unnecessarily. I liked the third book the best, cause of Sirius... I thought he was the most amazing character, he was portrayed as this handsome reckless and brave guy, rugged looking but great looking, kinda like Aragon in the movie, "Lord of the rings" or Oded Fehr in "The Mummy Series". So it was only natural that I stopped watching the Harry potter movies, after I saw who they had cast to play the role of Sirius Black, some demented looking guy. Just look at the pictures!!! Anyway, this last book was just too much... there was too much of everyt...
