Home again...

So I went home recently to see mom and as usual it was a fun trip... here are a few pix's.

The windmills...

The sun just rising...

Paddy fields...

Visited the special school too...

And hung out with the kids... I miss that.

Made some vegetable puffs...

I seriously love these...

Tried baking Biscotti, they turned out alright...

Melted some bitter Hazelnut chocolate to make a cake...

Here are the Almond Biscotti's and the cake.

Went to Holy Cross Convent, and visited the pretty chapel there...

Inside the chapel...

awww...theres seriously no place like home! Its the quiet, unaffected, and rawness of the air thats food for our soul. Its a long time again and hey we should all plan a holiday, just cousins...what do u say? A plan begins with a thought, so here we go...
Somebody's been having a ball out there. Christmas is on the way and I am sure you have prepared your menu.

Seems like a long time. How have you been, lady?

Joy always,
Susan

Beth, I took these pictures from the train as it slowly made its way to my place.

Nice Ad....

Wouldn't you say so... Nam and me were in this huge clothing store and we were making fun of all the models on display (there was one of hrithik in which he looked kinda gayish) when we came across this one. Seriously, dark people are more better looking....

My school teachers...

So I got to thinking bout my school days recently and it saddened me that I was starting to forget a few teachers who had shaped my life, I have already forgotten nearly half the classmates... though its not my fault. Some people just don't want to join facebook, then how can you find them in this big world. Even if I do find them, there is not much to talk beyond the 'where are you & what are you doing' phrases. But the teachers are another matter, they deserve to be remembered for moulding us. I gotta hand it to the convent school I studied in, they really knew how to select their educators... all the teachers I had shared a genuine passion for teaching and above that they had strong moral values and faith which invariably shaped our lives. To them being a good person was what mattered the most and they made sure we grasped this knowledge, it also helped that I had staunch catholic parents who cemented this view. Anyway, I just wanted to jot down stuff bout my teacher...

And nobody was named Fred....

There was a Hugo and a Rosie... but no Fred. Oh well, it's over... that is more than enough. So finally the Harry Potter series has come to an end. And I did read all the books... but somehwere between the third and the fourth book, all the success went to her (Rowling's) head and she started churning out lousy sequels. I mean the first book was really nice, stuck to important stuff... and did not ramble on unnecessarily. I liked the third book the best, cause of Sirius... I thought he was the most amazing character, he was portrayed as this handsome reckless and brave guy, rugged looking but great looking, kinda like Aragon in the movie, "Lord of the rings" or Oded Fehr in "The Mummy Series". So it was only natural that I stopped watching the Harry potter movies, after I saw who they had cast to play the role of Sirius Black, some demented looking guy. Just look at the pictures!!! Anyway, this last book was just too much... there was too much of everyt...
