Sherlocked (Cumberbatched)

An old flame is back... after more than a year. Been reeling under the influence of the new season of Sherlock, can't seem to get him out of my head. That's the beauty of this immortal character created by legendary author, Arthur Conan Doyle. From the very first time, I picked up his most famous book, I was hooked; heart, soul and spirit (okay, may be an exaggeration but you get the drift). This season is as enticing and perfect as the first was, Benedict has nailed the role. It was pure joy watching his arrogant self reel off things about people he has just met or rankle the people who put up with him. I love how the deerstalker hat was incorporated into the story, well done creators. I love how he deduces the code to unlock the phone, my heart almost skipped a beat. John is pretty amazing too, all the brotherly bonding was great.

Here are a few videos...

John is funny, Asperger's it seems...

If you haven't seen this BBC TV series of Sherlock Holmes, you're probably living a very 'elementary' life. But seriously, this is the best show out there... it will be worth your while to make the effort and watch it.

Hello Karen:
We have not had a television now for more than thirty years but rarely do we mind. However, it is on such occasions as the 'Sherlock' series that we definitely feel that we are missing out.

The clips you show here are such fun. We love the relationship between the actors and the dry, throwaway lines are wonderful, we agree!!

:) I hardly watch TV too, I download these episodes off the web. You can borrow them from friends in London or Brighton... I'm sure you'll find people crazy over this series there too.

Nice Ad....

Wouldn't you say so... Nam and me were in this huge clothing store and we were making fun of all the models on display (there was one of hrithik in which he looked kinda gayish) when we came across this one. Seriously, dark people are more better looking....

My school teachers...

So I got to thinking bout my school days recently and it saddened me that I was starting to forget a few teachers who had shaped my life, I have already forgotten nearly half the classmates... though its not my fault. Some people just don't want to join facebook, then how can you find them in this big world. Even if I do find them, there is not much to talk beyond the 'where are you & what are you doing' phrases. But the teachers are another matter, they deserve to be remembered for moulding us. I gotta hand it to the convent school I studied in, they really knew how to select their educators... all the teachers I had shared a genuine passion for teaching and above that they had strong moral values and faith which invariably shaped our lives. To them being a good person was what mattered the most and they made sure we grasped this knowledge, it also helped that I had staunch catholic parents who cemented this view. Anyway, I just wanted to jot down stuff bout my teacher...

And nobody was named Fred....

There was a Hugo and a Rosie... but no Fred. Oh well, it's over... that is more than enough. So finally the Harry Potter series has come to an end. And I did read all the books... but somehwere between the third and the fourth book, all the success went to her (Rowling's) head and she started churning out lousy sequels. I mean the first book was really nice, stuck to important stuff... and did not ramble on unnecessarily. I liked the third book the best, cause of Sirius... I thought he was the most amazing character, he was portrayed as this handsome reckless and brave guy, rugged looking but great looking, kinda like Aragon in the movie, "Lord of the rings" or Oded Fehr in "The Mummy Series". So it was only natural that I stopped watching the Harry potter movies, after I saw who they had cast to play the role of Sirius Black, some demented looking guy. Just look at the pictures!!! Anyway, this last book was just too much... there was too much of everyt...
