Five sacraments up, one more to go....

Life couldn't be better, the past few weeks have been hectic and wonderful in so many different ways. Everythin went off well, except for the weather. The cousins who travelled all the way from Bombay rocked the place (sheena we missed you). Anju was there for both the functions and unfortunately she found someone to talk to. Sajeeve 'The Mahathma' visited his homeland after a long time and it was great having him around. Met his brother Sunoj and you can't help but love that guy, he's so funny. Ashwin dropped in at the reception looking all hep and cool. Roamed around a lot, ate a lot of good food (check Sajeeve's blog for pictures), received a lot of gifts, spent a week at my new home, had a lot of fun..... now everythin and everybody is slowly getting back to normal.
Somehow I am reminded of this line from the movie Sound of Music, "When the Lord closes a door, somewhere he opens a window."
He made everythin go well...

Nice Ad....

Wouldn't you say so... Nam and me were in this huge clothing store and we were making fun of all the models on display (there was one of hrithik in which he looked kinda gayish) when we came across this one. Seriously, dark people are more better looking....

My school teachers...

So I got to thinking bout my school days recently and it saddened me that I was starting to forget a few teachers who had shaped my life, I have already forgotten nearly half the classmates... though its not my fault. Some people just don't want to join facebook, then how can you find them in this big world. Even if I do find them, there is not much to talk beyond the 'where are you & what are you doing' phrases. But the teachers are another matter, they deserve to be remembered for moulding us. I gotta hand it to the convent school I studied in, they really knew how to select their educators... all the teachers I had shared a genuine passion for teaching and above that they had strong moral values and faith which invariably shaped our lives. To them being a good person was what mattered the most and they made sure we grasped this knowledge, it also helped that I had staunch catholic parents who cemented this view. Anyway, I just wanted to jot down stuff bout my teacher...

And nobody was named Fred....

There was a Hugo and a Rosie... but no Fred. Oh well, it's over... that is more than enough. So finally the Harry Potter series has come to an end. And I did read all the books... but somehwere between the third and the fourth book, all the success went to her (Rowling's) head and she started churning out lousy sequels. I mean the first book was really nice, stuck to important stuff... and did not ramble on unnecessarily. I liked the third book the best, cause of Sirius... I thought he was the most amazing character, he was portrayed as this handsome reckless and brave guy, rugged looking but great looking, kinda like Aragon in the movie, "Lord of the rings" or Oded Fehr in "The Mummy Series". So it was only natural that I stopped watching the Harry potter movies, after I saw who they had cast to play the role of Sirius Black, some demented looking guy. Just look at the pictures!!! Anyway, this last book was just too much... there was too much of everyt...
